The Cancer Institute of New Jersey

FACT SHEET
• The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) is a research and treatment center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Unlike hospitals and other cancer care providers in the state, CINJ is also dedicated to intensive research that advances cancer medicine, and discovers new ways to control, cure, and even prevent cancer.

• CINJ is a place where students and young physicians are trained alongside world-class scientists and physicians who discover, develop, and deliver new cancer treatments to patients.

• CINJ is a center that believes it has a responsibility to all New Jerseyans, regardless of their ability to pay. Unlike other out-of-state cancer centers, it does not turn away uninsured and underinsured patients.

• CINJ has one of the nation's strongest and largest statewide network of hospitals and physicians.

• As an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, CINJ can provide its patients, and those of physician's in the network, with access to the most advanced clinical trials.
