Quarters for the Cure

Quarters for the Cure

Since 2004, students throughout the state have joined ranks to raise nearly $100,000 for cancer research, care, and education at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) – one quarter at a time. Best of all, participating schools tell us the QFC campaign was fun and a meaningful project. Click here for more information, or here to see Why it makes 'Cents" to support CINJ.

From January 11 – April 9, 2010, students, teachers and staff devise creative ways to fill a five-gallon water jug with as many quarters as possible. Click here to see some great fundraising ideas.

If your school is one of the top 3 fundraising schools, you will have an opportunity to host an assembly at which CINJ Foundation staff will recognize your efforts, deliver prizes to the student body, and have a CINJ expert give an age-appropriate talk about ways to prevent cancer, the dangers of smoking and tanning and other risk factors for the disease.
