BON JOVI AT MEADOWLANDS STADIUM

The Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation has a limited number of tickets available for the Bon Jovi Circle Tour Concert on May 29, 2010 at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Mrs. Bongiovi will be hosting a private cocktail reception with Jon Bon Jovi for our group before the concert. Tickets are Floor seating, Section 8 and can be obtained with a donation of $2,500 per ticket. The tax-deductible portion of each ticket is $2,250. CARE TO WALK

Location: North Brunswick High School
This annual fundraiser to promote breast and ovarian cancer awareness and the importance of early detection and treatment is truly a North Brunswick Community effort. Coordinated by the Care to Walk Club at North Brunswick Township High school, the walk is supported by township officials and departments, organizations, local businesses, and hundreds in the community who make donations or participate in the walk – about 500 each year. Proceeds benefit breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness programs at CINJ.

HIGH SPEED CHASE FOR THE CURE—5K RUN/3K WALK

The Rutgers University Police Department joins forces with the community to host this annual 5k run/3k walk. Proceeds support research programs and to assist CINJ patients with unmet financial needs. For those avid runners, the event is a sanctioned run on a USATF certified course. The Livingston Campus of Rutgers (The RAC) provides the perfect setting for this morning run/walk, and we hope to see you at the starting line! NURSES' COMEDY NIGHT BENEFIT

An annual night of fun and laughter kicks off Nurse’s Week at a local NJ comedy club. Guests enjoy dinner and a show, a fabulous tricky tray auction, and a 50/50 raffle! PRINCETON WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CLINIC

In the off-season, Princeton University football coaches take on a unique one-day challenge: turning a group of enthusiastic women into two football teams ready to take it to the field.
Help fight breast cancer in exchange for a morning of football instruction and drills and the opportunity to put newly gained grid iron knowledge to the test with a friendly touch football game. Recruit your female family and friends for this fun-filled, low pressure, football 101 experience.
QUARTERS FOR THE CURE
Date: January 11 – April 9, 2010
Location: New Jersey Schools
Quarters for the Cure is a fundraising program open to all schools in New Jersey and supports the fight against cancer at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ). Each participating school will receive one or two 5-gallon water jugs (depending upon school size). The participating schools then four months to fill these jugs with as many quarters as they can. At the end of our campaign, the top fundraising schools have the opportunity to host a school assembly at which CINJF staff will recognize their efforts, deliver prizes to the student body, and have a CINJ faculty member talk about the dangers of smoking, tanning and other risk factors for cancer. THE TINO CARBONE RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENT

The Tino Carbone Foundation (TCF), named in honor of Modestino Carbone, serves to promote the eradication of brain cancer through research and education. Proceeds from the annual Tino Carbone Raquetball Tournament will benefit brain cancer research investigating the role of mesenchymal stromal cells in brain tumors in an effort to uncover new strategies to treat brain cancer. TOWPATH 'TRAIN'ING RUN

The Raritan Valley Road Runners Annual D&R Canal Towpath “Train”ing Run is a non-competitive run along the scenic towpath trail that follows the Delaware-Raritan canal, Millstone River, and Raritan River. A picnic in Johnson Park, located in New Brunswick, is the perfect ending to this great event.

WAVE OF HOPE

Location: Long Branch, NJ
The Long Branch Public Schools hosts an annual Walk for Cancer Research and Carnival to benefit pediatric cancer research at CINJ. The event involves a months-long fundraising effort from each of the district’s 10 schools. Efforts include solicitation for sponsors, sale of items, development by each school of carnival booth, and the effort culminates in a Friday evening carnival and candlelight walk in memory of those lost to cancer and in celebration of survivors.
